SFP acquires stake in Danish asset manager

According to SFP, a portfolio of six properties in central locations in Copenhagen was acquired through the newly established public company Viga RE ApS, with SFP acting as co-arranger and placement agent. The market value of the portfolio (88% residential, 12% commercial) is EUR 80 million. In the medium term, the portfolio will be expanded with similar properties in urban areas.

Swiss Finance & Property Group AG has acquired a stake in Viga RE Management ApS. With Niels Heering, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viga RE Management, and Kristian Vinther, CEO of Viga RE Management, they can count on "two very experienced and well-connected local real estate experts as partners," says Hans-Peter Bauer, Chairman of the Board of Directors at SFP. "We are very pleased to have been able to successfully support Viga RE's first transaction in Denmark. With our investment in Viga RE Management, we have established a first foothold in Scandinavia."

According to the information, more than 30 investors have invested in Viga RE. It said its debt-adjusted initial yield is about 3.6 percent; annual distributions are estimated at about 4.0 percent. (bw)
