Investis is taking a 28.6 percent stake in the share capital of Neho, a start-up based at EPFL (Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Investis already had an indirect stake in Neho through its minority holding Polytech Ventures Holding SA.

Investis announced that it had decided to take a direct stake in the company "because of its convincing business model". As a result, the real estate company currently holds an economic stake of around 44 percent in Neho. However, with regard to existing agreements among the current shareholders, this share could be reduced to less than 37 percent in the future. Neho will be valued according to the equity method.

Neho offers real estate brokerage services and aims to provide owners with an alternative to traditional brokerage, especially at a lower cost. While its services are based on digital technologies, it does not forgo personal contact with real estate experts, Investis added. "Neho is a welcome alternative in an industry that has remained very conservative in recent years, despite digital transformation," says Stéphane Bonvin, CEO of Investis.
