The building is the former production center of chair furniture manufacturer Giroflex, which has been part of the Norwegian furniture group Flokk since 2017. The property is located on the German border and offers 18,500 sqm of warehouse, production and office space. It has six loading docks and ceiling heights of up to 13.5 m.

As part of the relocation of production, Flokk made the decision to sell the production center located on the German border; the furniture manufacturer was represented in the transaction by SCI Swiss Commercial Invest. The new owner, Varia Swiss Realtech Properties (VSRP), plans to renovate and lease the property as part of the Beezi brand, a chain of industrial spaces. The property will offer not only offices, light industrial and logistics space, but also common areas, a food hub, conference rooms and relaxation areas, VRSP announced.

The ideal location near the German border makes it possible to expand the portfolio in German-speaking Switzerland and at the same time establish the new Beezi brand in the region, according to Diana Oblak, managing director of Stoneweg Switzerland, the asset manager of the VSRP portfolio. This is the company's third property in German-speaking Switzerland. (ah)
