Swiss Finance & Property acquires Danish Viga
Die Swiss Finance & Property Group hat die Mehrheit am dänischen Immobilien-Asset-Manager Viga RE Management erworben.
The Danish asset manager Viga RE Management was founded by Niels Heering, Kristian Vinther and the Swiss Finance & Property Group (SFP Group) established and is the management company of the real estate vehicle Viga RE, which invests in the core/core+ segments with a focus on residential properties in the Copenhagen area. Since its launch in April 2021, the company has built a portfolio of 19 assets with a leasable area of approximately 42,000 sqm and a gross asset value of €235 million (equivalent to approximately CHF229 million), according to SFP Group.
The acquisition of Viga RE Management is a strategic commitment to expansion outside Switzerland, SFP Group says. Adrian Murer, CEO of SFP Group, will join the asset manager's board of directors.
Viga also intends to continue its growth course with the new majority shareholder SFP Group: In the next twelve months, the portfolio value is to reach over 500 million euros. To this end, a capital increase will be carried out in the second half of the year, with the support of the SFP Group. (ah)
