Mipim 2021 will take place in June
The commercial property fair Mipim in Cannes will not take place next year from 16 to 19 March as planned. The organiser Reed Midem is moving the date to the beginning of June.
According to Reed Midem, Mipim 2021 will take place from Monday, 7 June, to Thursday, 10 June 2021 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Among other things, discussions with customers about travel restrictions and quarantine had been the deciding factor for the relocation. According to Mipim director Ronan Vaspart, 70% of the exhibitors have already confirmed their participation for 2021.
Due to the Corona pandemic, this year's edition of Mipim has already not been able to take place as planned. After Reed Midem had postponed the fair to June at the beginning of March only after much hesitation, this make-up date was not kept either. Instead, an autumn meeting was held in Paris in September, supplemented by digital offerings. (ah)
