QSREE acquires in the Netherlands
The open-ended special AIF Quadoro Sustainable Real Estate Europe (QSREE) has acquired the Alpha Centauri office building in the Dutch city of Diemen from DWS.
The Alpha Centauri property was built in 2003 and modernized in 2018. The U-shaped building is located on a plot of about 5,000 sqm in a central location of Diemen, about 10 kilometers southeast of the center of Amsterdam. The property has a leasable area of more than 10,000 sqm, distributed over nine upper floors and two basement floors . In addition, there are 200 underground parking spaces.
The property is characterized by excellent transport links and good public infrastructure, says Quadoro Investment. In the location analysis by Sustainable Real Estate, the fund's sustainability advisor, the Amsterdam metropolitan region scored well above average and thus met the fund's sustainability criteria.
The oVontobel Sustainable Real Estate Europe has been called Quadoro Sustainable Real Estate (QSREE) since October 1, 2019. The background to the renaming is the Spin-off of the Sustainable Real Estate Investments unit of Vontobel Asset Management into Sustainable Real Estate. The management of the fund remains unchanged.
