Livit won the 2019 Real Estate Marketing Award in the online marketing category. The UBS pension fund had commissioned the company with the initial letting of Guggachpark, a complex with 252 apartments in Zurich.

The centerpiece of Livit's marketing strategy is a "Virtual Promoter": a two-meter-high monitor with a camera and sound system. The Virtual Promoter, a real person recorded in the studio and programmed in an app, addresses strolling passers-by and informs them about the project, explains the location and shows the range of apartments with the help of 360° visualizations. The interaction with the passers-by is gesture-controlled.

In addition to other marketing tools such as online advertisements, Livit also used social media campaigns to direct prospective tenants to the project website, where they apply online for an apartment. Starting with the move-in in May 2020, tenants will also have access to a tenant app that can be used to contact the property management company.

Further projects in Berlin, Jena and Friedrichsdorf receive awards

The award in the residential real estate category was won by the Frank Group for marketing the "Frank and Frieda" project, an eco-settlement in the Hessian town of Friedrichsdorf.

The award in the low budget category went to the agency K16 and Ziegert Immobilien. K16 developed the marketing concept "Studio09" for a Berlin residential building with small, unrenovated one- to two-room apartments built in 1975.

JenaFreestyle received a special award: The tenant takes over an unrenovated or partially renovated prefabricated apartment in Lobeda-West, a district of Jena, and renovates it himself. To this end, he receives a DIY store voucher worth several hundred euros when he signs a lease.

The Real Estate Marketing Award has now been in existence for 16 years and honors outstanding marketing campaigns in the real estate industry. The concepts submitted are reviewed and evaluated by a jury chaired by Professor Dr. Stephan Kippes from Nürtingen-Geisslingen University (HfWU).

Jury members are Dr. Roman H. Bolliger, Chairman of the Swiss Circle, Professord Dr. Andreas Frey, Rector of the HfWU, Steffen Eric Friedlein, Managing Director Leasing of ECE Projektmanagement, Dirk Labusch Editor-in-Chief of the German journal Real Estate, Rainer Maria Schäfer, Managing Director of Strabag Real Estate, Rahel Willhardt, Press Officer of Strabag and Klaus Striebich, Retail Expert and Management Consultant.
