Planzer plans to set up its logistics hub for northeastern Switzerland in the DNK1 building in Däniken (SO) from early 2024, Stoneweg says. Varia Swiss Realtech Properties (VSRP), a joint venture between Stoneweg and Decalia, acquired the 50,000-square-foot building from its current tenant Meier Tobler in a sale-and-leaseback transaction in 2015. Meier Tobler will vacate the space on Dec. 31, 2023, after which Planzer is scheduled to move in.

DNK1 was originally a postal center and offers 35 loading bays and large storage capacities. It is located between the railroad line and the cantonal road on the axis connecting the east and west of Switzerland. W+P Weber und Partner supported Stoneweg from the purchase to the repositioning of the property. (ah)
