Swiss Life AM and Club Estate launch investment strategy

Swiss Life Asset Managers announces a partnership agreement with Club Estate. Together with the Club Deal platform, which has offices in Zurich, Singapore, Hong Kong and Luxembourg, an investment strategy for first-class commercial real estate with a focus on the most sought-after cities in Switzerland will be launched. The partnership will start with an initial closing of CHF 220 million. According to the partners, there is an investment pipeline of up to CHF 1 billion.

The focus is on commercial properties in Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne and Basel - "in cities that are characterized by persistent supply bottlenecks in the prime segment". The strategy aims to "exploit the structural excess demand for prime commercial space in top Swiss cities and offer qualified investors exposure to Swiss francs, long-term pricing power, stable returns and value appreciation." The cooperation is intended to give qualified investors exclusive access to institutional real estate. "It creates a new platform for long-term value creation in one of the most stable real estate markets in Europe," the press release states.

Club Estate aims to provide family offices and private investors with access to hand-picked private market investments throughout Europe and beyond. According to the company, it specializes in off-market transactions and co-investment structures - "with a focus on stable returns and long-term capital preservation".
