Geistlich Immobilia appoints Ladina Esslinger as Managing Director
Martin Geistlich is handing over the operational management of the real estate subsidiary of the Schlieren-based Geistlich Group to the previous Head of Project Development.

Ladina Esslinger took over the operational management of Geistlich Immobilia AG from Martin Geistlich on July 1. The previous Managing Director will remain associated with the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Esslinger has worked for the company as Head of Project Development since 2017. She brings with her extensive experience in architecture, corporate management and site development and has helped shape the development of the "am Rietpark" district directly next to Schlieren train station in her previous role, Geistlich writes in a press release. Esslinger, who holds a degree in architecture from ETH and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen, has previously worked at Post Real Estate Management and Steiner Development, among others.
Geistlich Immobilia AG owns and manages a portfolio of properties and develops projects on company-owned land at the Schlieren site in Zurich. The gradual withdrawal from industrial production in 2006 and 2016 marked the beginning of the realignment of the company site into the 125,000 square meter "Am Rietpark" quarter. Martin Geistlich, who joined the Group in 1995, managed Geistlich Immobilia AG for over 18 years and played a key role in the transformation of the former industrial site. The next stage is the realization of the Lymhof. Geistlich Immobilia's portfolio will comprise a total of around 650 apartments, several hundred workplaces and numerous commercial and office spaces. The company is also currently working on the Koyo development project, which is specifically tailored to the medical technology sector. (aw)
