In the 2022 financial year, ISS Switzerland, headquartered in Zurich, generated sales of CHF 772.7 million. The facility manager thus grew by 4.2 % compared with the previous year.

Excluding the acquisition of Livit FM Services AG, which was recognized in the balance sheet in November, the increase still amounted to 2.9%. With this acquisition, ISS Switzerland is significantly expanding its Real Estate Investors industry segment, as Livit FM Services manages a large proportion of Swiss Life's properties in Switzerland.

ISS now generates 72% of its revenue from mandates comprising Integral Facility Services (previous year: 69%). The largest share of total revenue, namely 45%, is generated by ISS Switzerland with cleaning services, followed by Property Services (building services, operation of data centers and construction project management). These services contributed 35% to sales in the past fiscal year (previous year: 37%). Support Services such as Reception, Mail and Logistics Services (11%), FM Advisory (6%), Security (2%) and Catering (1%) together contributed 20%.

Growth planned with Workplace, Energy and Health themes

"In addition to the real estate investor segment, as a full-service provider in facility management we will increasingly focus on Workplace Solutions, Energy Management, Health & Safety, Critical Environment and Food Solutions," says CEO André Nauer.

The most important customer segment in the past year was the office sector with 43%, followed by pharmaceuticals (11%), industry and manufacturing (10%), retail and wholesale (7%), the public sector, transport and infrastructure, and healthcare (6% each). (aw)
