Steiner cooperates with proptech Hegias
Steiner AG and the proptech company Hegias are entering into a strategic partnership. The startup has developed software that enables collaboration and visualization of construction projects.
Hegias was founded in 2017 and in 2020 developed Hegias VR, an automated and purely cloud/browser-based platform for visualization and collaboration with virtual reality (VR) for the real estate industry. Thereby, 3D plans can be uploaded via drag n' drop into an internet browser and subsequently virtually walked through, materialized and furnished by several people, location-independent with and without VR glasses together.
The new virtual collaboration environment will enable all project participants to work on the same model at the same time, regardless of location, says Giuseppe Giglio, Chief Digital Officer at Steiner. This simplifies and accelerates previous processes and contributes to a significant reduction in errors.
According to Ajay Sirohi, CEO of Steiner Group, this is the real estate group's first strategic partnership in the digital sector. Further collaborations with innovative startups are planned. (ah)
