Crowdhouse: Ruedi Baer resigns from the Board of Directors
The well-known entrepreneur Ruedi Baer is leaving the board of directors of FinTech Crowdhouse. The departure from the board is due to age and was planned in this form, the company says.

Ruedi Baer, co-founder of the electronics retailer Interdiscount and the mobile phone store chain Mobilzone, founded the online platform crowdhouse.ch in 2015 together with Robert Plantak and Ardian Gjeloshi and has been a member of the company's board of directors ever since.
His resignation is now by mutual agreement due to his age, says Chairman of the Board Ardian Gjeloshi. "Ruedi Baer has contributed a lot to the successful launch of crowdhouse.ch with his vast experience and know-how and was an important and formative part of our company during the eventful and important start-up phase for two years as a member of the Board of Directors." He will continue to mentor and advise crowdhouse.
Crowdhouse AG (previously Bricks & Bytes AG) operates crowdhouse.ch, an online platform for investments in income-producing properties. Since its launch two years ago, over 40 properties worth around CHF 300 million have been brokered to private investors, according to the company. In June 2016, Luzerner Kantonalbank invested in the fintech company based in Zurich.
