The first shop-in-shop pharmacy of the mail-order pharmacy Zur Rose was opened in summer 2017 in the Migros branch on Bern's Marktgasse. It has been "extremely well received" by customers, the two companies say. That is why they are planning further locations.

A shop-in-shop pharmacy is scheduled to start operations in the Migros Claramarkt in Basel in mid-2018. In the second half of the year, a location will be added in Zurich at Limmatplatz as soon as the store's renovation is completed. In addition, it is being examined whether further locations can be opened in areas without a doctor's dispensary.

Customers of the Zur Rose shop-in-shops can order the products online and pick them up in the store or have them delivered to their homes. A full range of pharmacy products is offered, the company says.
