Until now, only qualified investors have been able to invest in the Baloise Swiss Property Fund, but from 1 November 2021 the fund will be open to all investors who wish to buy units via the stock exchange. The listing application has been approved by the SIX Swiss Exchange, says Baloise Asset Management. With the listing, the Baloise Swiss Property Fund is expected to be included in the "SXI Real Estate Broad" and "SXI Real Estate Funds Broad" indices.

The fund was launched in 2018 and its investment objective is primarily to generate a stable current income by investing directly in Swiss core/core plus real estate. The aim is to achieve broad regional diversification as well as sector diversification over the medium to long term, Baloise Asset Management said. The share of residential properties should be at least 50%. (ah)
