The extension to the Landquart Fashion Outlet in Zizers (GR) was officially opened these days. After around one and a half years of construction, the retail destination has grown to around 100 stores with a total rental area of just under 27,000 square meters. According to earlier information, the expansion comprises almost 5,000 square meters with 15 additional spaces. As was reported at the opening ceremony, all but a few of the new spaces have already been let.

Coach, Carhartt WIP, American Vintage, Eleventy and Birkenstock are among the new additions. A L'Oréal Group store will follow on May 22. The gastronomic offering has also grown: While Läderach is already represented in the center, Coffee Fellows will also open in May. The opening of a new restaurant is also planned for 2026. Nike now has its largest factory store in Switzerland in the new building area, where it will present an expanded range. Existing brands such as Calvin Klein and PME Legend are also using the expansion for larger spaces.

The owner is a pension fund

The opening ceremony was attended by Otto Ambagtsheer, CEO of owner VIA Outlets, center manager Aleksandra Perz and Daniel Freund, mayor of Zizers. Although the FOC is named after Landquart, it is located almost entirely within the municipality of Zizers. The expansion is complemented by a new multi-storey parking lot with 1,170 parking spaces. In collaboration with Energie 360°, one of the largest fast-charging parks in Switzerland with a total of 30 charging points has also been created.

Since 2014, the FOC has belonged to Via Outlets, a holding of the asset manager APG, which in turn belongs to the largest pension fund in the Netherlands. (aw)
