Lokstadt in Winterthur is taking shape. With the Tender and BigBoy residential buildings already under construction, the foundation stone has now also been laid for the Elefant building. The Minergie-certified new building has already been fully leased to SWICA before construction begins. "The building is being implemented as a pure timber construction, which saves grey energy, is CO2-friendly and highly efficient in terms of consumption and costs," says Adrian Wyss, Head Division Development at Implenia. The company is responsible for site development and implementation.

Meanwhile, the first apartments in Haus Krokodil have been handed over; around 250 rental and owner-occupied apartments have been built at the central Dialogplatz. By 2023, condominiums will be built in the ten-story Tender high-rise, and a commercial unit is planned for the first floor. According to Implenia, more than 60% of the apartments are currently reserved. (ah)
