The Riedmatt is intended to be a new meeting place for the Zurich Unterland region, where the customer experience will take center stage, according to Mint Architecture, which was a strategic partner in the revitalization project.

The entrance floor of the shopping center is designed for retail providers in the food sector as well as for specialist markets. It houses a Coop supermarket and a 6,000 sqm Coop Bau & Hobby specialty store. The first floor is easily accessible both via the parking garage and from the outside and connects directly to a gas station.

A sports and adventure world is housed on the second floor; here there is a trampoline park with Switzerland's first, 3,000-square-meter Flip Lab adventure park and a 1,700-square-meter Clever Fit fitness center. Other providers from the leisure sector are to follow in the coming months. There is also a restaurant on the second floor.

Mint Architechture was part of the expert team for the revitalization project in the areas of utilization and marketing strategy, in the development of the customer journey, in the labeling and tenant signage, and in the mall design and furniture. In addition, the architects were responsible for the concept implementation and construction of the Flip Lab experience park. (ah)
