Zurich AST appoints portfolio manager for commercial investment group

Zurich Invest is creating a dedicated portfolio manager position for the «Real Estate Business Switzerland» investment group. In this role, Francesco Giardino took over responsibility for the vehicle on April 1. He has been Senior Asset Manager at Zurich Invest since 2022 and now reports to Marek Dobias, Head Portfolio Management at the Zurich Investment Foundation. «With this personnel reinforcement, Zurich Invest is reaffirming its commitment to the further development of the investment group and its growth strategy,» the company comments on the appointment.

The investment group's portfolio has an investment return of 4.74% for 2025, which is 59 basis points above the KGAST benchmark. Total asset growth increased by 6.3%.
