HWZ appoints head of the «Center for Smart Building & Real Estate»

The Zurich training center appoints Adrian Wildenauer, currently a professor at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, as head of a newly created competence center.

From February, Adrian Wildenauer will take over the management of the newly created «Center for Smart Building & Real Estate» at the HWZ Zurich School of Business. The Center is part of the new «Banking & Finance, Controlling and Real Estate» department, which will be headed by Nadine Rusch-Schenker from January.

Wildenauer is currently Professor of Digital Construction at the Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH. Previously, he worked at SBB AG as Head of BIM Standardization & Industry Activities and in management positions at Pom+ Consulting AG, Ernst & Young Real Estate AG and Ed. Züblin AG. His research focuses on Building-as-a-Service, Digital Twins, Digital Product Passport, Data Management and Service Dominant Logic in the construction and real estate industry.

Wildenauer holds a doctorate from the University of Economics and Business in Prague and has completed further training in the areas of leadership, innovation, data governance and educational neuroscience. He completed these at Stanford University, King's College London and University College London, among others.
