ULI Switzerland appoints a Local Chair for French-speaking Switzerland

Emanuel von Graffenried is the new Local Chair Romandie of ULI Switzerland. With his appointment, the network wants to become more present in French-speaking Switzerland.

Emanuel von Graffenried started his term of office on 1 January 2022. According to Sabine Georgi, CEO of ULI DACH, von Graffenried will be able to use his network in Western Switzerland to drive the expansion of ULI Switzerland. "ULI Switzerland has grown rapidly in the DACH region and we look forward to the next phase of growth under Emanuel's chairmanship," she says. In the Lausanne, Geneva and Fribourg regions in particular, the professional network expects strong urban development, triggered by environmental and social issues, which will have an impact on the whole of Western Switzerland, she says.

Von Graffenried has been Associate Director at CBRE Building Consultancy in Lausanne since May of this year. Previously, he worked for Moneypark, and before that he was Managing Partner at Ateliers GEC SA. He studied architecture at EPFL and holds a federal qualification from the USPI Formation as an expert in real estate valuation, is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a member of REG A for professional architects and a professional member of the SIA.
