Rennaz: Fund finds new tenant for 10,000 square meters
The «Commercial PK» sub-fund of Procimmo Real Estate SICAV has announced a successor solution for a space previously occupied by Funplanet Jeux SA.
Following the bankruptcy of Funplanet Jeux SA, the fund management of the «Commercial PK» sub-fund of Procimmo Real Estate SICAV has announced that the total space of over 10,000 square meters in Rennaz has been fully re-let. «A ten-year lease has been signed with a company that intends to revitalize the site quickly, sustainably and with a long-term perspective,» writes Procimmo.
The infrastructures are now being taken over by a company whose administrator is the Jura entrepreneur Diego Rohner. He is active in the real estate, hotel, fintech and leisure sectors, including through the «Raiffeisen Parc» sports and entertainment center in Delémont. «The acquisition is part of a strategy to develop modern leisure infrastructures in French-speaking Switzerland, with a particular focus on the customer experience, cost control and local roots,» Procimmo continues.
Due to the difficulties of the former tenant, the SICAV had reported an increased vacancy rate in its annual report (IB reported). Procimmo has now announced that it took less than three months to re-let the property. Funplanet was located at Route des Deux-Chênes 11 in Rennaz. (aw)
