In Geneva, the investors for two prestigious buildings in the Praille-Acacias-Vernets (PAV) urban development area have been finalized. According to the PAV Foundation, planning agreements have been signed for two high-rise buildings that will be the tallest in Geneva. The two buildings in the "Quartier de l'Étoile" are being developed by Halter and Fordinvest on the one hand and Marconi Investment SA, the real estate arm of Rolex, on the other.

Developed by Halter and Fordinvest, the "Tour de l'Étoile 3" is set to reach a height of 170 m and have an area of over 50,000 square meters. The plans include more than 300 apartments and spaces for public facilities, restaurants, stores and services as well as a top floor open to the public. Halter is developing the project in partnership with Fordinvest Schweiz GmbH, which acquired the existing "Tour de l'Étoile" back in 2000 and initiated the development. As the overall provider, Halter is also assuming responsibility for the realization of the high-rise building. An architectural competition is due to start in 2026. The second building, planned by Marconi Investment, is scheduled for completion in 2025. Halter has already completed a high-rise project in the Praille-Acacias-Vernets area.

One of the largest urban development projects in Europe

The PAV perimeter lies within the boundaries of the municipalities of Geneva, Carouge and Lancy. It is the largest development project in Switzerland and one of the largest in Europe. Over an area of more than 140 hectares, nine new urban districts with over 12,000 new apartments, 6,000 new jobs, public facilities and open and green spaces will be created over the next few years.
