Ikea: City center studio opens in Bern
With a small location in Bern's old town, the furniture retailer is moving closer to its customers and offering advisory services there.
The furniture chain IKEA has rented a space in Bern's city center. At Gerechtigkeitsgasse 50, the Swedes will operate a "Plan and Order Point" on around 150 square meters. Customers can order goods there and receive support in planning their furnishing projects - especially kitchens. The location is also intended as a contact point for business customers. Ikea already operates similar city center stores in Zurich, Chur and Winterthur.
