Walde Immobilien: Chiara Maria Walde joins the company
The sister of CEO Claudio Walde will work as a real estate consultant for the family business, which is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Walde Immobilien AG has announced that Chiara Maria Walde (30) has joined the family business. The sister of Claudio F. Walde (33), who was appointed CEO of the real estate service provider at the beginning of 2024, will work as a real estate consultant in the Limmat Valley region.
Chiara Maria Walde is a trained kindergarten teacher and holds an MSc in International Business. According to the press release, she worked for six years at London-based start-ups for data security and PropTech solutions for real estate agents. "With empathy, strong communication skills and management know-how, she is ideally suited to her new role," writes the real estate consultant.
Founded 40 years ago
The Zollikon-based company celebrates its 40th anniversary on October 1 of this year. The founders Marianne and Gerhard E. Walde are still active in the company as a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of Directors respectively. Founded as a small broker of rental apartments, the family-run company with 82 employees markets around 400 properties a year at ten locations in the Zurich, Aargau, Central Switzerland and Graubünden regions. According to Walde Immobilien, 70 % of all mandates still come from personal recommendations. (aw)
