Plans for a new residential development in the Walmühle quarter in Frauenfeld (TG) are taking shape. Based on a design plan, the owner, Schweizerische Mobiliar Versicherungsgesellschaft AG, is planning and developing the new "Stammerau-Walzmühle" project together with the real estate service provider HRS Real Estate AG and the architectural firm Züst Gübeli Gambetti Architektur und Städtebau AG from Zurich. "Two L-shaped buildings create a permeable urban ensemble with generous open spaces," writes HRS.

There will be 108 rental apartments with 2.5 to 5.5 rooms. The development is being built to the Minergie-P standard, with a geothermal probe heat pump, underfloor heating and a photovoltaic system on the roof.

The planning application was submitted in August. (aw)
