Weinfelden: First stage on "Sangenfeld West" before construction starts
According to HRS, construction of the first two buildings on the site is due to start in August. There will be 70 condominiums.
In Weinfelden (BL), the investor HS Investment AG will start construction work on the "Sangenfeld West" site in August. Two of the nine planned buildings are to be constructed in the first stage. The client and total contractor HRS expect to move into buildings C and D with a total of 70 condominiums in spring 2028.
In summer 2020, HRS submitted a planning application for nine multi-storey buildings. The plans envisaged a total of 300 rental and owner-occupied apartments on an area of over 22,000 square meters. In 2024, architectural changes were made to two of the nine buildings for the approved construction project. In buildings C and D, condominiums were to be offered instead of rental apartments. This resulted in a new planning application. There was no opposition to the slightly amended plans and planning permission was granted in December 2024. (aw)
