Akara Diversity completes fourth capital increase

The Akara Diversity PK (Akara Swiss Diversity Property Fund PK) has completed its fourth capital increase oversubscribed. The fund will receive around CHF 168 million.

The Akara Diversity PK was launched in October 2016 and has now completed its fourth capital increase. 83 investors now hold 785,400 shares in the fund. According to Karl Theiler, CEO of Akara Funds, ten new investors have joined the fund.

According to Akara Funds, the inflow of funds of around 168 million will be used to invest in real estate assets and real estate projects throughout Switzerland and to reduce short-term debt.

The Akara Diversity PK is aimed at tax-exempt pension funds domiciled in Switzerland as well as social insurance and compensation funds. Investments are made in existing properties and in development and construction projects with residential and commercial uses throughout Switzerland. The properties are predominantly held directly.
