Con un calo di 2,2%, il commercio al dettaglio ha registrato un risultato particolarmente negativo. La Federazione svizzera del commercio al dettaglio ha calcolato queste cifre sulla base delle transazioni con carte di debito e di credito. Secondo la Federazione, il turismo degli acquisti \u00e8 in ripresa. I maggiori problemi sono stati i segmenti \"tempo libero\/hobby\/giocattoli\", \"abbigliamento e scarpe\" e \"orologi e gioielli\", mentre la vendita al dettaglio di prodotti alimentari ha avuto ancora una volta un effetto stabilizzante con un leggero aumento di +1,4%. Il commercio online svizzero, invece, ha chiuso l'anno leggermente in positivo con una crescita prevista di +0,8%. \"La situazione si sta quindi consolidando dopo che il commercio online svizzero ha subito forti pressioni nel 2024 a causa del rapido sviluppo dei marketplace online cinesi come Temu\", afferma l'associazione del commercio al dettaglio.
