Des logements et des surfaces de vente au d\u00e9tail doivent \u00eatre construits au centre de la ville et l'espace public doit \u00eatre revaloris\u00e9. En lieu et place des immeubles existants de l'Untere Bahnhofstrasse, portant les num\u00e9ros 19 et 21, 77 logements, des surfaces de restauration et de vente ainsi qu'un espace de d\u00e9tente et de rencontre v\u00e9g\u00e9talis\u00e9 seront construits.<\/p>\n<p>Les immeubles existants au 19 et 21 de l'Untere Bahnhofstrasse datent des ann\u00e9es 1960. En 1993, un plan d'am\u00e9nagement a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9 pour l'ensemble r\u00e9sidentiel et commercial existant aujourd'hui. L'un des objectifs : La Linthplatz, en face du parking du centre-ville, doit \u00eatre r\u00e9am\u00e9nag\u00e9e pour devenir un lieu de s\u00e9jour et de rencontre attrayant. Le long des espaces routiers adjacents, des valorisations pour les pi\u00e9tons sont \u00e0 l'\u00e9tude, valorisant la liaison entre la gare et la vieille ville.<\/p>\n<p>Un nouveau trottoir \u00e0 la Merkurstrasse ainsi qu'une revalorisation de la zone pi\u00e9tonne le long de la Bahnhofstrasse inf\u00e9rieure par une rang\u00e9e d'arbres sont entre autres \u00e0 l'\u00e9tude. Dans les rez-de-chauss\u00e9e du Cityhof, des utilisations orient\u00e9es vers le public sont pr\u00e9vues, comme par exemple un caf\u00e9 et des surfaces de commerce de d\u00e9tail, qui doivent contribuer \u00e0 un quartier vivant et renforcer encore le centre-ville. Les logements pr\u00e9vus sont dispos\u00e9s autour d'une cour int\u00e9rieure v\u00e9g\u00e9talis\u00e9e au premier \u00e9tage du lotissement.<\/p>\n<p>Les plans de la \u00abCityhof\u00bb ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us par les architectes Galli Rudolf.
