La demande r\u00e9elle a de nouveau baiss\u00e9, ce qui, combin\u00e9 \u00e0 des prix l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus bas, a \u00e9galement entra\u00een\u00e9 un recul des chiffres d'affaires nominaux de la branche (-1,0% par rapport \u00e0 2015) pour la deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e apr\u00e8s l'abolition du taux de change minimum euro\/CHF. Toutefois, la dynamique de baisse se serait sensiblement ralentie dans certains segments.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que le commerce de d\u00e9tail alimentaire a de nouveau enregistr\u00e9 une l\u00e9g\u00e8re croissance nominale de son chiffre d'affaires, les d\u00e9taillants du segment non alimentaire ont toujours souffert, selon l'\u00e9tude, d'un recul parfois important de leur chiffre d'affaires. La baisse du chiffre d'affaires ne s'est que l\u00e9g\u00e8rement affaiblie par rapport \u00e0 2015. Au sein du commerce de d\u00e9tail non alimentaire, ce sont surtout les d\u00e9taillants de v\u00eatements et de chaussures qui se sont retrouv\u00e9s en difficult\u00e9. La baisse de leur chiffre d'affaires a encore nettement augment\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Le tourisme d'achat s'est stabilis\u00e9 \u00e0 un niveau tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9 en 2016, suppose le CS en raison des recettes de la TVA aux douanes suisses. Alors que les achats \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger sur place auraient l\u00e9g\u00e8rement diminu\u00e9 (-6,2% par rapport \u00e0 2015), le commerce en ligne transfrontalier a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d'une forte dynamique de croissance. \"Au total, un franc sur dix d\u00e9pens\u00e9 par le commerce de d\u00e9tail en 2016 devrait l'avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger\", peut-on lire dans le <em>Perspectives de la vente au d\u00e9tail 2017<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>Les impulsions de croissance font d\u00e9faut<\/h2>\n<p>Pour 2017, CS s'attend \u00e0 une stagnation des chiffres d'affaires nominaux dans l'ensemble du commerce de d\u00e9tail. Cela \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 une stabilisation apr\u00e8s les faibles ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. Pour une reprise plus dynamique, il manque en revanche des impulsions de croissance claires de la part de l'\u00e9conomie globale. En raison de la stagnation du taux de ch\u00f4mage, le climat de consommation ne s'am\u00e9liorera tout au plus que de mani\u00e8re h\u00e9sitante en 2017, pr\u00e9voient les auteurs de l'\u00e9tude.<\/p>\n<p>Comme l'inflation devrait revenir en Suisse en 2017, le pouvoir d'achat des consommateurs n'augmentera gu\u00e8re, malgr\u00e9 de faibles augmentations des salaires nominaux. En outre, \u00e0 moins que le franc ne s'appr\u00e9cie encore nettement par rapport \u00e0 l'euro, les achats stationnaires de la population suisse \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger ne devraient pas continuer \u00e0 augmenter en 2017, mais tout au plus l\u00e9g\u00e8rement diminuer. Ainsi, la demande r\u00e9elle augmentera l\u00e9g\u00e8rement, en premier lieu gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la croissance d\u00e9mographique.<\/p>\n<p>CS s'attend \u00e0 ce que les prix du commerce de d\u00e9tail continuent de baisser en 2017, comme ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Compte tenu des perspectives mod\u00e9r\u00e9es de la branche, les plans d'expansion des surfaces de vente pour 2017 sont \u00e9galement plus d\u00e9fensifs qu'ils ne l'ont \u00e9t\u00e9 depuis 2009. Les projets des d\u00e9taillants alimentaires sont plus offensifs que ceux des d\u00e9taillants non alimentaires.<\/p>\n<h2>La densit\u00e9 de l'offre est la plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans les centres et les agglom\u00e9rations<\/h2>\n<p>L'\u00e9tude de cette ann\u00e9e accorde une attention particuli\u00e8re \u00e0 la densit\u00e9 r\u00e9gionale de l'offre dans le commerce de d\u00e9tail stationnaire. Celle-ci est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la moyenne dans les centres et les agglom\u00e9rations suisses. En revanche, les r\u00e9gions rurales - \u00e0 l'exception des communes touristiques - pr\u00e9sentent une densit\u00e9 d'approvisionnement inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la moyenne. Dans de nombreuses r\u00e9gions, le rapport entre l'offre (mesur\u00e9e en postes \u00e0 plein temps) et la demande dans le commerce de d\u00e9tail stationnaire a diminu\u00e9 entre 2011 et 2013.<\/p>\n<p>L'emploi dans le commerce de d\u00e9tail a diminu\u00e9 dans la plupart des grands centres-villes - \u00e0 quelques exceptions pr\u00e8s, comme Lucerne -, alors qu'une augmentation des postes a parfois \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e dans les quartiers ext\u00e9rieurs. Le recul de l'emploi dans les centres-villes est notamment d\u00fb \u00e0 l'\u00e9volution des loyers des surfaces de vente situ\u00e9es aux meilleurs emplacements.<\/p>\n<p>L'observation r\u00e9gionale de la densit\u00e9 de l'offre montre \u00e9galement les cons\u00e9quences du tourisme d'achat qui avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 fortement augment\u00e9 en 2011. En 2013, les d\u00e9taillants des communes frontali\u00e8res de l'Allemagne et de la France ont enregistr\u00e9 une baisse de 5,4 et 3,4 pour cent des emplois \u00e0 temps plein par rapport \u00e0 2011 - la ville de B\u00e2le a m\u00eame enregistr\u00e9 une baisse de 6,6 pour cent. Sur l'ensemble de la Suisse, le recul a \u00e9t\u00e9 de 2,1 pour cent.
