A la date butoir du 1er juin 2020, 78 832 appartements vacants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recens\u00e9s en Suisse, soit 1,72% du parc immobilier total (maisons individuelles comprises) et une augmentation de 3 449 appartements ou 4,6% par rapport \u00e0 l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/p>\n<p>Par rapport \u00e0 2019, le taux de vacance a augment\u00e9 pour toutes les cat\u00e9gories d'appartements, \u00e0 l'exception des appartements de 5 pi\u00e8ces. Selon l'OFS, c'est l'offre d'appartements d'une et de deux pi\u00e8ces qui a le plus augment\u00e9, avec respectivement 14,5% et 7,0%. Seul le nombre d'appartements de 5 pi\u00e8ces propos\u00e9s a l\u00e9g\u00e8rement diminu\u00e9 de -0,5% par rapport \u00e0 l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. La plupart des appartements vacants comptent trois ou quatre pi\u00e8ces.<\/p>\n<h2>L'offre augmente le plus au Tessin et dans la r\u00e9gion l\u00e9manique<\/h2>\n<p>Selon l'OFS, le nombre d'appartements offerts et vacants sur le march\u00e9 a augment\u00e9 dans cinq des sept grandes r\u00e9gions, les plus fortes hausses \u00e9tant enregistr\u00e9es au Tessin et dans l'Arc l\u00e9manique (respectivement +0,42 et +0,21 point de pourcentage). Seules les grandes r\u00e9gions de Suisse orientale et l'Espace Mittelland ont enregistr\u00e9 une l\u00e9g\u00e8re baisse par rapport \u00e0 l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente (respectivement -0,08 et -0,02 points de pourcentage).<\/p>\n<p>Le taux de vacance le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de Suisse se trouve dans le canton de Soleure, avec 3,22% ; c'est le seul canton \u00e0 d\u00e9passer la barre des trois pour cent. L'OFS a \u00e9galement constat\u00e9 des taux de vacance \u00e9lev\u00e9s dans les cantons du Tessin (2,71%), d'Argovie (2,65%) et du Jura (2,52%). Le chiffre le plus bas a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 dans le canton de Gen\u00e8ve (0,49%). Les taux de vacance sont \u00e9galement faibles dans les cantons de Zoug (0,70%), Zurich (0,91%), Obwald (0,92%) et B\u00e2le-Ville (0,96%).<\/p>\n<p>En chiffres absolus, c'est dans le canton de Vaud que le nombre d'appartements vacants a le plus augment\u00e9 - de 1 187 appartements. C'est toutefois dans le canton de Berne que l'on trouve le plus d'appartements inoccup\u00e9s, avec 10 678 unit\u00e9s. Le canton des Grisons (-480 unit\u00e9s) et le canton de Schaffhouse (-218 unit\u00e9s) ont connu la plus grande p\u00e9nurie d'approvisionnement.
