La coop\u00e9rative Fambau veut d\u00e9molir le b\u00e2timent et le remplacer par une nouvelle construction. Le Patrimoine bernois et le service des monuments historiques de la ville de Berne se sont oppos\u00e9s \u00e0 cette d\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de son examen, le pr\u00e9fet a toutefois conclu qu'apr\u00e8s une r\u00e9novation minimale, le b\u00e2timent ne pourrait pas \u00eatre lou\u00e9 \u00e0 un prix couvrant les co\u00fbts. La Fambau ne pourrait pas financer la prochaine r\u00e9novation de la structure porteuse, qui serait due au bout de 30 ans, avec les revenus locatifs.
