The aim is to attract an additional 200,000 visitors a year, according to the canton of St. Gallen.<\/p>\n<h2>Hotel resort and Heidi village<\/h2>\n<p>Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG, Alpkorporation Mols as the landowner, and the Office of Economic and Labor Affairs of the Canton of St. Gallen held an investor and operator competition. Implenia emerged as the winner for the hotel project. The plan is to build a resort with a comprehensive range of services and a \"renowned national hotel operator\". It has not yet been announced who this will be.<\/p>\n<p>According to the canton, the project idea is particularly impressive because of its \"integral consideration of the needs of tourism, the alpine economy and architecture and its compatibility with the landscape\".<\/p>\n<p>Project developer Steiner Sarnen Switzerland has developed a utilization concept for the \"Heidi Alpine Experience\" on the Moseralp. Guests will play out the Heidi story at numerous indoor and outdoor stations. The components of the previous alpine business such as gastronomy, livestock farming, alpine dairy and overnight accommodations will remain integrated, but will be modernized.<\/p>\n<h2>Flumserberg is to become a year-round destination<\/h2>\n<p>Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG is rebuilding the Tannenboden - Maschgenkamm gondola lift. The bottom station in Tannenboden is also being rebuilt. A more efficient gondola lift will replace the quad gondola lift and the quad chairlift Chr\u00fcz. The existing operations building will be renovated and converted into a lounge and meeting place.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of all these projects is to promote the Flumserberg also as a summer destination and thus to develop it into a year-round destination, according to the canton.
