Construction and real estate expert Raymond Cron was elected to the Board of Directors of Rhystadt AG at an Extraordinary General Meeting at the end of September as the successor to Munzur Halis and thus as the representative of shareholder Baloise.<\/p>\n

Halis is stepping down from the Board of Directors as he is taking up a new position as Head of Real Estate and member of the Executive Board at Pax Asset Management AG.<\/p>\n

Raymond Cron (65) holds a degree in civil engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), has more than 25 years of experience in the construction and real estate industry and has held various management positions in the past, including at the Federal Office of Civil Aviation FOCA, Allreal and Orascom Development Holding; most recently, he was Managing Director of the Switzerland Innovation Foundation. Today, Cron holds various directorships, including Chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Claraspital and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg. Following the election, Daniel Gebhardt (Chairman), Conradin Stiffler (Vice Chairman), Anita Fetz, Gian Reto Lazzarini and Raymond Cron will form the Board of Directors of Rhystadt AG.<\/p>\n

At the Annual General Meeting of Central Real Estate Holding, whose subsidiary is Rhystadt AG, the shareholders also approved a capital increase and a reduction in the nominal value of the shares. In addition to Baloise, five other pension funds and investment foundations in Central Real Estate Holding's shareholder base are committed to the long-term and sustainable development of the Basel Klybeck site, namely the Zug Pension Fund, the Credit Suisse Investment Foundation, the PAT-BVG Pension Fund for Doctors and Veterinarians, the Safra Sarasin Investment Foundation and the GastroSocial Pension Fund. bw<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
