The project \"The Myrrhen\" violates the requirements of the municipal building regulations and is insufficiently integrated into the local and landscape, says the construction department.<\/p>\n<p>Behind the CHF 30 million project are the Schilthornbahn, Steiner AG and the MHBD Swiss Resort Management of former Switzerland Tourism Director Marco Hartmann.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.immobilienbusiness.ch\/en\/baubewilligung-fuer-the-myrrhen\/\">The project approved by the Regierungsstatthalteramt Interlaken-Oberhasli <\/a>envisages the construction of four apartment buildings in M\u00fcrren with a total of 76 tourist apartments and the installation of a reception, a lobby and a breakfast room in the existing \"Alte Post\" building. The cantonal building department has now given the building permit for the project.<\/p>\n<h2>Violation of aesthetics regulations<\/h2>\n<p>The building project violates the provision according to which a maximum of four full stories and one roof or attic story are permitted above a certain height in the affected building area.<\/p>\n<p>The building directorate also comes to the conclusion that the planned new buildings are \"too voluminous and have overall proportions that are out of keeping with the locality\". Overall, the building project does not fit sufficiently into the local and landscape image and thus violates the aesthetic regulations of the municipality.<\/p>\n<p>The decision of the Construction Directorate of January 10, 2017 can be appealed to the Administrative Court of the Canton of Bern within 30 days.
