According to a statement from LUKS, the total costs for the project will amount to CHF 172 million. The originally defined cost ceiling was CHF 125 million - including ancillary buildings, parking and dismantling. The reason for the drastic increase is the inflation of recent years, the increased structural and technical requirements in the meantime and project adjustments, writes the LUKS.<\/p>\n<p>The new hospital building will not only be more expensive, but will also be delayed by a year. The hospital now expects to open in 2028 instead of 2027. Among other things, work is currently being carried out on the utility building.
