Thomas Wolfensberger, CEO of Peach Property Group, will step down as CEO at the Annual General Meeting on May 24. This writes the company in an ad hoc release. Wolfensberger will be available to Peach as a consultant in the future.<\/p>\n

The succession has already been clarified: Chairman of the Board of Directors Reto Garzetti will take over the operational management duties of the CEO as well as the chairmanship of the Executive Board as Executive Chairman after the Annual General Meeting, the company further announces.<\/p>\n

Wolfensberger: More time for family and new entrepreneurial interests<\/h3>\n

\"We have achieved a tremendous amount with our Peach Group over the past 16 years: building up the portfolio from 0 to 2.6 billion euros, implementing many successful projects in three countries, and creating an asset management platform that enjoys respect in the industry,\" Wolfensberger said.<\/p>\n

The change in the macro environment associated with high inflation in the EU is leading to changed priorities and opportunities throughout the industry. The Peach Group is very well positioned to hold its own in this environment, he said. However, he wants to use this phase to gain more time for himself, his family and new entrepreneurial interests.<\/p>\n

A COO for Germany<\/h3>\n

To improve operations in Germany, Peach has appointed a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Germany. Marcus Schmitt will take up the position in July. Schmitt has nearly 25 years of industry-specific professional experience and most recently had profit and performance responsibility for a regional residential portfolio of about 25,000 residential units and a team of 96 employees, Garzetti said.
