(Photo: Alfred M\u00fcller AG)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Baar-based real estate company Alfred M\u00fcller AG will be able to acquire the development site in Wallisellen as of July 1, 2016, as Coop will relocate the Chocolats Halba production facility to Pratteln in the medium term. New facilities for the three Swiss production plants Chocolats Halba, Sunray and Cave and a new Coop quality laboratory will be built there. A leaseback agreement was signed with Alfred M\u00fcller AG for the usable space in Wallisellen until June 30, 2018, which includes a twelve-month extension option.<\/p>\n<p>\"We will certainly replace some of the real estate with new buildings. The building at the old Winterthurerstrasse 7 offers interesting conversion possibilities in the medium term, both for traditional commercial and office use and for the creative industries, start-ups or coworking. The other two buildings, on the other hand, will probably be demolished,\" explains Christoph M\u00fcller, Chairman of the Board of Alfred M\u00fcller AG.<\/p>\n<p>The Baar-based family business with branches in Marin (NE) and Camorino (TI) has been developing, realizing, marketing and managing real estate for over 50 years. With 190 employees, it currently generates annual sales of around CHF 450 million and has a real estate portfolio worth approximately CHF 1.3 billion.
