(Photo: Implenia)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The new Andreasturm with over 20,000 square meters of office, retail and gastronomy space as well as direct access to the platform at the Zurich Oerlikon train station will be built according to the German \"DGNB Platinum\" label adapted by the Swiss Sustainable Real Estate Council (SGNI). The building will be realized using the so-called lid construction method. In this method, from the concrete ceiling of the second basement level onwards, the floors below are constructed at the same time as the floors above ground.<\/p>\n<p>The anchor tenant in the future St. Andrew's Tower will be the engineering company Amstein + Walthert AG, which will occupy around 10,000 square meters of office space (floors 1 to 12). The design for the 80-meter high new building project was provided by the architects Gigon\/Guyer.
