Previously, PSP had rejected Steiner's offer to enter into settlement negotiations without reservation, it said. \"Steiner's position is supported by external expert opinions,\" writes the company, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the client, Steiner AG had renovated and redeveloped the L\u00f6wenbr\u00e4u site in Zurich in 14 subprojects since mid-2010. \"Numerous deficiencies in the specified planning documents, which Steiner had not been able to identify during the tendering phase, led to considerable additional expenses and schedule delays during the construction period with high financial consequences for Steiner AG,\" the media release continues. In the course of the construction work, corrections to the planning documents had to be made again and again. The tendering procedure with more than 10,000 individual items in the service catalog was \"in part significantly incorrect or incomplete and contradictory\", which was confirmed by detailed investigations, analyses and an external expert opinion.<\/p>\n<p>In a first reaction, PSP Swiss Property Ltd rejects the additional claims of Steiner AG. Steiner AG's statement in its media release does not correspond to the facts and is therefore disputed by PSP Swiss Property AG, it says. The additional claims in connection with the L\u00f6wenbr\u00e4u construction project have always been rejected. Steiner AG, for its part, has so far refused to \"substantiate its additional claims in terms of substance and amount\". In view of \"the amount of the claim without any explanations\", it had not been possible to engage in the requested \"unconditional settlement talks\". To date, PSP Swiss Property is not aware of any facts that would explain Steiner Ltd's claim.
