At the same time, Riverside now opened to the public - with a temporary restaurant on the Aare, the \"RiverYard\".<\/p>\n<p>According to SPS Anlagestifung, the first apartments will be marketed in spring 2021; the first move-in dates are scheduled for winter 2021. This first construction phase is being realized by Solothurn-based architects Graf Stampfli Jenni in collaboration with Agps Architecture Ltd.; investors are more than 280 Swiss pension funds. \"Swiss Prime Investment Foundation is currently conducting its sixth issue. The capital raised will be used, among other things, to finance development projects,\" said Marcel Hug, managing director of Swiss Prime Investment Foundation. The subscription period lasts until July 22, 2020.<\/p>\n<h2>Living and working on the river<\/h2>\n<p>The master plan had been developed by a team of architects, engineers, landscape, spatial and traffic planners. The planners describe the location in the immediate vicinity of the city of Solothurn, on the Aare River and with direct connections to local and long-distance public transport as well as the A1 and A5 freeways as \"optimal.<\/p>\n<p>The overall concept of Riverside, which will be developed as a \"living space,\" is reportedly built around quality of life and sustainability: Housing standards, socio-demographic characteristics, energy and traffic management. To ensure that a multifaceted neighborhood can grow up, a variety of apartments for both rent and purchase are to be built on the total of ten construction sites over the next 15 to 20 years.
