It is scheduled to reopen in the fourth quarter of 2020 as the third Ameron hotel in Switzerland and the first Ameron boutique hotel in the country - it will then comprise 60 rooms and suites, experience gastronomy and conference facilities.<\/p>\n<p>As representative of the owner, UTO Real Estate Management had commissioned SPG Intercity Zurich and Monoplan, an architectural firm specializing in the hotel industry, to find a new operator for the traditional hotel.<\/p>\n<p>\"We have been looking for a location in Zurich for some time to expand the portfolio of the Ameron brand in Switzerland,\" says Thomas H. Althoff, founder and owner of Althoff Hotels.<\/p>\n<p>The Bellerive au Lac is one of the most famous hotels in Zurich. It is situated in a prime location directly on Lake Zurich and is only a few minutes' walk from Sechsel\u00e4utenplatz with the Opera House and from Bahnhofsstrasse.<\/p>\n<p>The Ameron brand includes eight four-star hotels in Germany and Switzerland: in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Bonn, as well as in Davos, Lucerne and Hohenschwangau, near Neuschwanstein Castle.
