The zoning regulations applicable to the area, which create the basis under planning law for the new construction and thus the densification of the Thomasweg estate, are now open to the public. As reported by \"Der Bund\", the purpose of the Thomasweg zone with planning obligation (ZPP) is now explicitly the construction of \"a dense, socially acceptable, urbanistically and architecturally high-quality development\". Among other things, about one third of the apartments are to be offered at low prices and thus have a lower development standard. It is also planned to build the new building in stages, which should give tenants more time to reorient themselves.<\/p>\n
