The remaining area will be available as a parking lot for vehicles of craftsmen and market people as well as for touring cars and cabs.<\/p>\n<p>According to the City of Bern, the Sch\u00fctzenmatte is to become a meeting and exercise area for young and old. For this purpose, various temporary elements are available that can be used flexibly and moved around: Trees in troughs that can also be used as seating, and barrier elements that not only prevent illegal parking but are also suitable for skating and jumping.
