ISS Switzerland: New COO comes from Schindler

Matthias Müller will take over from Giuseppe Cristofaro, who is leaving ISS Switzerland after around eight years, on May 11.

Matthias Müller will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer at ISS Switzerland on May 11 and become a member of the Executive Board. He succeeds Giuseppe Cristofaro, who is leaving the company after around eight years. Müller was most recently a member of the Executive Board and Director Business Management at Schinler Aufzüge Schweiz. His previous employers include AS Aufzüge and Siemens Switzerland.

In his new role, Müller will be responsible for the organic growth of ISS Switzerland, «with a focus on new business via tenders and strengthening customer loyalty». He will «further develop the commercial organization and ensure the integration of sales, key account management, marketing and operations», is how ISS describes his role.

ISS Switzerland generated sales of CHF 914 million in 2025 with 14,000 employees. The company is part of the Copenhagen-based ISS Group, which is listed on Nasdaq Nordic and operates in 32 countries.
