SPA Real Estate Switzerland grows in Q3
The Swiss Prime Investment Foundation's investment group has increased the value of its portfolio to CHF 4.4 billion, in particular through a large contribution in kind.

The «SPA Real Estate Switzerland» investment group closed the 3rd quarter with a cumulative investment return of 3.16% (Q3 2024: 2.66%). The completed transactions and project investments led to an increase in the market value of the real estate portfolio from 4.1 billion to 4.4 billion. The vacancy rate fell slightly from 1.72 to 1.62%.
For this period, the Investment Foundation reports a contribution in kind from the Saurer companies' pension fund in September with retroactive effect from July 1. The acquired real estate portfolio consists of four properties in Arbon (TG). The purely residential portfolio has 207 apartments and 237 parking spaces. The investment foundation also acquired a residential development in Sissach (BL) with effect from July 1. The 44 residential units are reportedly in a well-kept condition and were extensively renovated in 2014. (aw)
