As part of the latest capital increase, Fundamenta Real Estate AG placed around 4.1 million shares at a price of CHF 17.00 per share. Due to the high demand, the company made use of the announced option to increase the volume. The volume of the issue ultimately amounted to CHF 70.0 million. The company intends to use the net proceeds of around CHF 66.7 million primarily for investments in the existing project pipeline and for acquisitions. The funds can also be used to strengthen the equity base and for general social purposes. Fundamenta has undertaken not to issue any further shares for a period of 180 days from the first trading day of the new shares. The first day of trading is November 6.

According to information provided by Immobilien-AG in October, the capital increase would have reached a volume of CHF 50 million without the expansion option. Including the option, the upper limit would have been CHF 73 million (IB reported). Fundamenta Real Estate AG is the only real estate company listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange to focus on residential real estate in German-speaking Switzerland. (aw)
