Implenia has won major building construction contracts with an order volume of over CHF 400 million. The largest of these is the construction of the new medical research and training center on the Inselareal in Bern. The complex will bring together five institutes of the University of Bern's Faculty of Medicine in one building. Implenia has been commissioned by the Canton of Bern to carry out the construction work, which is expected to run from May 2026 to July 2028. The new building will include state-of-the-art laboratories, office workstations, training rooms and meeting rooms, spread over seven above-ground and five underground floors.

The contracts also include the new construction of the Schachenweid development in Oetwil am See (ZH), where the construction company is building eight apartment buildings with 90 condominiums on behalf of the Seraina Investment Foundation. According to the information provided, the development is characterized by spacious outdoor areas, a shared parking garage under the buildings and commercial use on the first floor. The new buildings are being planned and built in accordance with the Minergie standard and with BIM. Work will begin in September 2025 and is expected to last until October 2027.

Implenia has also been commissioned with the comprehensive modernization and conversion of an inner-city building into a mixed-use development with retail and office space. In western Switzerland, the Group will realize a site development involving the conversion of an old factory site into a new urban quarter with residential, office and commercial space. Implenia has also won two new-build projects for large school buildings in Switzerland and Germany. (aw)
