Implenia has won several building construction contracts in Switzerland and Germany. The order volume totals CHF 200 million. The construction group is building a new data center for Stack Infrastructure as a "Core & Shell" contract in Beringen. It is the eighth that Implenia has built in Switzerland for various customers since 2020. According to Implenia, the new building will be constructed according to the latest BIM standards. The project is due to be completed by 2027.
Traditional hotel in Gstaad
Implenia is also renovating The Park Gstaad hotel. The five-star hotel has been in existence since 1910 and was the first of its kind at the location. Implenia is the general contractor responsible for the "core & shell" work and for coordinating the carpentry work. The refurbished building is to receive Breeam certification. Construction of the real estate development led by Squircle Capital started in October 2024 and the hotel opening under the Four Seasons brand is planned for the 2026/2027 winter season.
"Nordbau" in Aarau for Mobimo
Implenia has also announced that it has been awarded a total contractor contract by Mobimo for the "Nordbau" conversion and extension project in Aarau. The project, which is being planned and managed using BIM and Lean, is part of the further development of the Aeschbach quarter right next to the train station. In the interests of sustainability, parts of the existing concrete structure are to be retained. The mixed-use building attached to an existing tower with 122 new rental apartments and almost 200 square meters of rentable commercial space is planned in accordance with the Minergie-ECO standard. Handover is planned for mid-2028.
Several orders in Germany
Finally, Implenia has also acquired several contracts in Germany, including a school building with a supermarket in Heilbronn and a residential complex in Sindelfingen (both in Baden-Württemberg), as well as a retail park with a supermarket, drugstore and bakery, including outdoor facilities, near Bamberg (Bavaria). Implenia is also renovating a residential building with more than 50 apartments in Halle (Saxony-Anhalt) and converting an existing logistics hall for Lufthansa Aviation Training in Neufahrn near Munich to accommodate four flight simulators.
